Used Cooking Oil
Used Cooking Oil is a composition of different mixture of oils discarded from the industrial deep fryers. This undergoes intense dewatering and filtration from sludge. Oil such as Canola Oil, Sunflower Oil, Palm Olein, Soybean oil are discarded and can be repurposed for use as a feedstock for biodiesel.
For engines designed to burn diesel fuel, the viscosity of vegetable oil must be lowered to allow for proper atomization of the fuel, otherwise incomplete combustion and carbon build up will ultimately damage the engine.

- Moisture and Impurities: 2% max
- Saponification: 185-200 mg KOH/g
- Iodine Value: 75-100
- Titer C (melting point) : 23-28 C min

Biofuels

Where does Used Cooking Oil come from?
Used Cooking Oils are oils and fats that have been used for cooking or frying in the food processing industry, restaurants, fast foods and at consumer level, in households.
Originally, before their varied use, these are the pure cooking oils are derived from various types of plants or various types of seeds like (including sunflower, palm kernel, safflower, cotton, sesame, and grapeseed oils) or nuts (including peanut, soybean, almond, and walnut oils).
